A production cel from the Nepenthe Studios animated cult classic "Watership Down" (1978). Featuring General Woundwort, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The piece is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the film. The image appears at about 1:14:37 when Woundwort delivers a dark monologue while confronting the rabbits. Measuring 10.5”x13” overall, with the character image measuring 6.5”x3.25”, the cel is in very good condition with minor edge and corner wear overall. The cel is paired with a color printed background for presentation purposes.
